Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is surrounded by lush green forests on one side and a rugged yet stunning coastline on the other. 1. Cellular Jail

Prisoners were sent here during the British rule to keep them away from the revolution. The prison is now unoccupied and open to the public. You can enjoy a light & sound show in the evening or take a stroll around its beautiful gardens.
 
2. Mount Harriet

This hillock offers panoramic views of the islands and is a popular tourist destination in Port Blair. It is about 1,200 feet high and is the perfect spot to witness a spectacular sunrise or beautiful sunset from.

3. Mini Zoo

A great attraction for kids and animal lovers, you will find some rare species of animals and birds at this zoo.

4. Gandhi Park

A small and beautiful park in Port Blair, it has a small lake, a narrow walking trail, some amusement rides as well as water sports activities. You will also find historic remains of a Japanese temple and a war bunker in this park.
 
5. Anthropological Museum

Located on MG Road, the museum showcases the tribal life and culture of the islands. Enjoy an exhibition of weapons and tools used by tribes along with some photographs of the various tribes in the region. The museum also organizes screenings of documentaries about island life.
 
6. Corbyn’s Cove

A soft beach with coconut and palm trees, water sports and romantic sunsets, Corbyn’s Cove is a famous tourist destination for travellers. It is worth it to simply get out of your hotels in Port Blair, away from the concrete jungle and into a world of serenity and tranquillity.

7. Ross Island

Around 2 km away from Port Blair, Ross Island offers a home bakery, a church, a swimming pool and a museum. The island is currently maintained by the navy and is a great place to learn about the history of British rule in India.

8. Chidiya Tapu

Located 25 km from Port Blair, the bird island is a wonderful place for bird watching. The surrounding water is ideal for snorkelling as it is full of colourful corals.

9. Andaman Water Sports

Enjoy boating, water skiing, paddling and other water sports at this complex. You can also take training for various activities if you’re staying longer. Don’t forget to visit the artificial waterfall when you’re here.
 
10. Jolly Buoy Island
