Shopping

One of the best shopping places in Mussoorie is its Mall Road. One can buy antiques, Oakwood showpieces, woollens, jewellery, handicrafts, books, homemade jams and squashes among other things. Its cosy roadside cafes allow people to relax after the tiring shopping. Located below the Mall Road is another popular shopping destination often listed in the Mussoorie shopping guide - the celebrated Tibetan Market. It offers sleeping bags, windcheaters and woollens at surprisingly low prices. Tourists visit the place especially to buy the sacred Tibetan prayer flags and different types of incense sticks. Rajpur Road is another option when it comes to shopping in Mussoorie. Though it lies 25km from the main city, the variety of items it has on offer makes it worth a visit.
