Goa has a world of possibilities when it comes to shopping. Street markets like Mapusa are one of the common shopping places in Goa. They offer the famous Goan pottery, textiles, spices, antiques, traditionally handcrafted items. Another famous shopping stop is the Anjuna Flea Market, which is usually flooded with foreigners and local tourists. It is one of the liveliest weekly markets, held on Wednesdays. It offers items like artificial jewellery, accessories, beachwear and footwear. Calangute Market square and Saturday night bazaar at Arpora are other shopping stops most Goa shopping guides would recommend.
