Ooty, known as Queen of hill stations is a very popular hill station located in Nilgiri Hills of TamilNadu.The British Collector John Sullivan discovered this place &had developed it to a summer resort. The tourists from all over India as well as foreign countries visit it during summer & sometimes in the winter months also. Tourists are also attracted by the exciting mountain train journey, which commences from Kallar, near Metlupalayam to Ooty. The scenery, which it unfolds during the trip, is fantastic & breath- taking. The best season to visit is April to October.
