Situated at the base of Chamundi Hills, Mysore is the second largest software exporter in the Indian state of Karnataka. A home to several industries including weaving, bronze work, sandalwood carving and lime and salt, the city was ranked the fifth-best city to conduct business and the second cleanest city in India in 2001.
