Vizag offers a reasonably large selection of stores selling clothing, jewellery, books, etc. While definitely not considered a shopper's paradise, Vizag offers some unique handicrafts, jewelry, clothes and traditional South Indian metal utensils. Apart from curios and artifacts, sandalwood products - varying from wood carvings to sculptures - are really nice antiques to splurge. Other famous things of the region are spices, pickles, soaps, perfumes, musical instruments, handmade paper and Indian tea.

Kurupam Market is famous for its gold and silver ornaments. The leading jewellery stores are Khazana, Tanishq, CMR Shopping Mall, Vaibhav Jewellers, Sanghvi Jewellers. The place where we can experience a fascinating shopping in Pochampalli silk sarees and a variety of it can be experienced in shopping malls like CMR Central, Kalanjali, Kalaniketan. Markets at Waltair, RTC Complex, TSR Complex, Jagadamda Junction, Kurupam and Dwaraka Nagar are quite popular amongst the people.
