Mr. Suresh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer - Fortune Park Hotels Limited


An Advanced Management Qualification (AMQ) degree holder from School of Business-Bond University, Australia and a Science Graduate from Delhi University, Mr. Suresh Kumar joined ITC Hotels Ltd. as a Management Trainee in 1978.

In a career spanning about three decades, Suresh has held several managerial positions in ITC Hotels's prestigious hotels commencing his career as General Manager in 1987 at a young age of 29 years. Sheer dedication and strong work ethics and pride in delivering both quality and professionalism soon earned him the portfolio of Vice President for the Southern Region of ITC Hotels Ltd. In April 2005, Suresh Kumar took over as Vice President Operations - ITC Hotels based in Delhi. Since October 2006, he assumed the mantle of President, Fortune Park Hotels Limited, A wholly owned subsidiary of ITC Ltd.

During the course of this illustrious journey, Mr. Kumar has been awarded a number of accolades, including 'The Green Hotelier' award by International Hotels and Restaurants Association (IHRA) in 1996 and 'Safari India Best Hotelier, 2004 & 2009'. He has been actively involved in shaping the mindset through various forums of CII, Management Associations etc. At present he is a Management Committee Member of Hotel & Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI), Executive Committee Member of Hotel Association of India (HAI) and Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI).

Mr. V. Chandar, Vice President - Finance

Mr. V. Chandar, M.B.A., M.Com, L.L.B. has more than 30 years of experience in the Hotel Industry. He has handled several assignments including as Head of Internal Audit, GM - Accounts & Taxation of ITC Hotels Ltd., Controller ITC Prefixed Properties & Maurya and his previous assignment before moving to Fortune Park Hotels Limited was GM - Business Planning ITC Ltd - Hotels Division.

Mr Rohit Malhotra, General Manager - Operations

Mr Rohit Malhotra, a Hotel Management Graduate from IHM, Pusa Delhi comes with a vast experience of 30 years. He began his career in 1977 with Welcomgroup in Food Production and subsequently worked in different capacities at Mughal Cidade de Goa and Maurya Sheraton. In 1988, he switched over from a role of Executive Chef to General Management and joined Cidade de Goa as Resident Manager. He was the Vice President - Growth and Development Division of Cidade de Goa at the time of rejoining ITC Hotels in 2001. His first assignment was in Welcomgroup Rajputana Sheraton. Subsequently, he moved to Welcomgroup Mughal Sheraton where his latest assignment was that of General Manager prior to moving to FPHL as General Manager - Operations.

Mr. Vijay Jaiswal - Head Sales and Marketing


Mr. Vijay Jaiswal started his career as a Management trainee with ITC -Hotels Division and was first posted as Asst. Mgr. Sales to the Chennai hotels.

Thereafter, his assignments over the years include positions at the Regional Marketing office - North; Sales Manager of ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad. After a stint of two and a half years, he moved to Rajputana Sheraton, Jaipur, to the leisure segment for four years. Mr. Jaiswal was the Head of Sales & Marketing for the Chennai hotels and the Regional Marketing Office for five years, he moved to ITC Maurya as Area Manager Sales & Marketing for the last three and half years before moving as Head - Sales & Marketing for Fortune Hotels.

Chef O.P. Khantwal - Corporate Chef

A Masters in Hospitality & pass out from the Oberoi School of Hotel Management, New Delhi, Chef O P Khantwal, with almost 35 years of experience as a professional chef, has been associated with hospitality brands like The Oberoi, Hilton, Sheraton and ITC Hotels. In his present assignment for the last four and a half years with Fortune Hotels as the Corporate Chef, he has successfully introduced novel branded cuisine including the launch of successful restaurant concepts like Fortune Deli, Earthen Oven, Nakshatra and The Oriental Pavilion.

He was bestowed with prestigious “Golden Hat Chef Award” at the sixth edition of the Annual Chef Awards hosted by Indian Culinary Forum (ICF) with PHD Chamber and Chef organizations at The Ashok, New Delhi. The Award was presented by Hon’ble Union Minister for Urban Housing, Poverty Alleviation, and Tourism, Kumari Shelja at the Awards ceremony. He was honoured with a trophy for his personal contribution in culinary field & international recognition among professionals during IFCA – Fourth National Culinary Congress 2009.

Apart from the above honour, Chef Khantwal has also received Lifetime Achievement Award by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Golden Hat award from SICA at Chennai. He has been founder President of South India Culinary Association, Culinary Association President of Andhra Pradesh, Regional Director of IFCA, Board member for Osmania University at Hyderabad.

Ms. Shipra Nair - Corporate Housekeeper

Mrs. Shipra Nair has graduated in Economics Honours from the Jesus and Mary College, Delhi. She completed her Housekeeping Management Training from the Welcomgroup Management Institute, Gurgaon. She has over 33 years of professional experience with leading organizations including ITC Maurya Sheraton & Towers, Welcomgroup Rama International and Taj Blue Diamond as Executive Housekeeper. Her last assignment was that of General Manager of WelcomHeritage Windamere Hotel, Darjeeling. She has been associated with Fortune Park Hotels Ltd. since February 2008.

Mr. Milan Gupta, Senior Manager - Finance

A Commerce Graduate from Delhi University, Mr. Gupta has been with the Hospitality Industry for more than ten years. He brings in with him, experience in 'Finance' as well as assignments in 'Growth and Development'. A member of the Corporate Team, he has been associated with the 'Growth story' of Fortune Hotels for the past four years, and in his current capacity handles 'Corporate Finance & Development' for the chain.
